Coming Soon From Kia
We’ll start by taking a look at the vehicles that will soon be seen on the California highways. Kia has several upcoming models that are about to arrive in Kia dealerships and it may not come as a surprise that all three of them fall into the crossover/wagon segment. Drivers today want interior versatility and all-weather performance, which is why you’ll see more and more new crossovers bring released in the next few years.
2020 Kia Soul
The Soul has been a classic in the Kia lineup and gets a serious exterior revamp for the 2020 iteration. Initial photos show that it still remains true to its innovative silhouette, but with some fresh features like slimmer LED headlights, a wider front grille with available integrated fog lights, and new color options. There will also be a new X-Line Trim which includes a rugged version of the Soul that we’ve never seen before. Technology is a must, so drivers of all ages will be thrilled to see an available 10.25-touchscreen in the center stack and available 8-inch Head Up Display.
Fans of the Niro Hybrid SUV will have an even more eco-conscious option when the Niro EV hits our dealership. Featuring a fully electric powertrain and all the sophisticated exterior design of the current 2019 Niro, the Niro EV has already turned heads with its international debut1. Not only will you get to bypass the gas station, you’ll still get impressive power with the estimated 201-hp and 291 lb.-ft. of torque. Initial testing is aimed at keeping you on the move with a 240-mile driving range2 as you enjoy the premium interior comfort features.
Although we may have to wait a little longer for a test drive, taking a look at Kia’s concept cars provides a glimpse into the brand’s goals and style ideas. There are numerous models taking shape in the Kia design room, including the GT4 Stinger, the Soul’ster, and the KV7. One we are particularly excited about is the Cross GT. Preliminary details from Kia show this vehicle as having a 3.8L V6 hybrid engine3 and eco-friendly interior features like renewable wool, re-harvested American Walnut trim, and no-chemical tanned leather seats.
